The Old Hall may just have it all... tucked away in a rural location with magical views across the river to The Wrekin that never fail to surprise and inspire our guests. While secluded and peaceful, our boutique bed and breakfast is ideal for exploring nearby Shropshire towns, restaurants, markets and sights.
The Old Hall's charming 16th-century building is part-timbered and sits on a dwelling site stretching back 1,000 years. Steeped in a history of hospitality, including in the 1960s and '80s when it welcomed guests as a small boutique hotel renowned for its restaurant and as a sought-after wedding venue.
Our boutique bed and breakfast is surrounded by beautiful mature gardens, which slope down to the river. Explore the natural wonders of the riverbank, sit and admire the views or wander through the enchanting woodlands. It is the ideal base for discovering the many and varied attractions Shropshire has to offer.
Shropshire is a county rich in history and is famed for being the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. It is prominent in medieval history and home to one of the largest towns in Roman Britain – Wroxeter – where history lovers can conjure up visions of the past while exploring the impressive ruins. There is so much to discover in and around Shropshire, with Old Hall a welcoming retreat at the end of a day spent exploring.
